Twas the final Macro class of the year
And all through the place
Each student arrived with a smile on their face
Excited to try and learn something new
And maybe take home a new trick or two.
Once all had arrived, we soon took our seats
And started the class with some quick meet and greets.
Next for the day was a brief presentation
which covered some basics and set expectations
Discussion of Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO
How they all worked, just so you know.
Finally, it was time for us to shoot pics
And learn about how all this information clicks.
From oranges to flowers, then a little abstract
Each subject had purpose, to highlight a tact.
To uncover details with direction of light
Students learned how to hone their Macro photographer sight.
I worked with each student
Answering any question they had.
To see glee on their faces made me so glad.
As the end of our time came
And the workshop was done
I felt very gratified
because we all had some fun.
As they got in their cars and drove out of sight,
My wish for each was
"Happy Snapping to All, and to All Some Good Light!!""
Until next time,
DeAnna and the rest of the Aperture Academy team!
P.S. If you'd like to join us at one of our workshops, you can find the schedule/sign up here.
